First Aid & CPR Honduras

Becoming a temporary protection (foster) family in Honduras means welcoming children and adolescents into the home under the protection of DINAF. Before accreditation, at least one family member must complete the required training; first-aid and CPR training is commonly expected as part of that care preparation.

De eis inzake eerste hulp

The Protocolo de Familias de Protección Temporal, applied by the Dirección de Niñez, Adolescencia y Familia (DINAF), requires at least one applicant from each candidate family to take part in training for a minimum of sixteen (16) hours, after which the family receives a certificate of participation. Current first-aid and CPR training — wounds, choking, cardiac arrest, including pediatric CPR — is reasonably expected as part of that preparation, although it is not identified as an explicit legal requirement.

Training and accreditation are recognized by DINAF within the fostering modalities (extended family, de facto fostering and temporary protection family). The training is in addition to the family assessment and expected parenting skills, and should be kept current.

Een erkend en actueel certificaat eerste hulp en reanimatie voldoet aan deze eis. Het komt bovenop de vereiste opleiding of beoordeling en wordt periodiek verlengd.

Onze opleidingen in reanimatie (CPR), gebruik van de AED en eerste hulp worden ontwikkeld conform de meest recente internationale richtlijnen voor cardiovasculaire spoedzorg en eerste hulp.

Wij volgen nauwgezet de aanbevelingen van ILCOR (International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation), het internationale orgaan dat verantwoordelijk is voor de wetenschappelijke evaluatie en de ontwikkeling van wereldwijde reanimatienormen. Deze aanbevelingen dienen als referentie voor gezondheidsorganisaties, instellingen en beroepsorden over de hele wereld – en worden bijgewerkt naarmate het wetenschappelijke en klinische bewijs evolueert.

Houd uw vaardigheden met vertrouwen actueel

Elke interventie kan een verschil maken. Uw vaardigheden in reanimatie en spoedzorg actueel houden is zowel een beroepseis als een verantwoordelijkheid tegenover patiënten, collega’s en het publiek.
